I was tired of cheap, small umbrellas. This product exceeded expectations. I use it for work where I usually wear a suit and carry a briefcase. It is large enough to protect both body and suitcase.

It is larger, so when folded up it may be twice as large as other brands, but is still small enough for easy transport. I have had no issue with wind, and the construction feels sturdy and durable.

Update 6/2013- Had a real test in high wind situation and I must say I am disappointed. It was windy, but not dangerously windy and the umbrella was nearly torn apart. The main rod became bent to the point that I have to manually open it now. It inverted numerous times and connections on the ends in places were torn off.

Overall for moderate conditions, umbrella worked great but with 20mph winds, leave it at home.

One of the highlights of childhood is going to a picnic with family and friends. It gives them the opportunity to bond with them outdoors and relax at the same time. For sure, these children would all the time remember the happy times they share with their loved ones. Of course, it's not only young children who love going to picnics. There are couples on a romantic date, friends out to have a good time, and the whole family including the relatives.

So how does man setup the excellent picnic?

Before doing that, every person should first resolve on the location. The places depend on the personalities of the population because some prefer having a picnic in their own backyard. But others want to have it someplace farther, like by the sea, the park, or near the hills where the view is better.

The next thing to do would be to put in order some of the supplies the night before. establishment beforehand will avoid whatever from panicking minutes before going to the destination. It is a good thing to list all things needed so that it will be complete. The supplies should consist of picnic basket, cooler, and picnic blanket. Disposable utensils are all the time great when going out. This will remove the strangeness of cleaning up afterwards. Other necessities would be insect repellents, umbrellas, trash bags, and towels. When going to an unfamiliar place, it is great to bring flashlights, maps, and cell phones.

Before deciding what food to bring with you, know some of the facts needed first. Does the place where you're going to have tables? How many population are coming? Does whatever have allergies? These questions will help you resolve what's best. Cold drinks are favorable while picnics so consist of dissimilar types of drinks: water, soda, juice, or even wine.

When going to a picnic, other activities will be included. Group games will be favored because more population can join. Games like charades, soccer, volleyball is very recommended. But remember to rest first before doing these activities. Maybe telling stories to each other will pass the time. It will bond every person and keep up the good mood.

Adding music while the picnic will liven up everybody. Bring a stereo or an iPod with speakers so that the music can be heard around. Refrain from putting rock songs that others will hate or too mellow sounds that might bore the children. Love songs are good when you're going out as a couple, while R&B is great when there are teens around.

These things are all important so that your picnic will be good. Although you can't operate the weather, by establishment everything, it will be sufficient so you can have a great time. In the end, it's still in the enterprise you're with. If ever the picnic didn't turn out so well, you and your loved ones can laugh about it and not repeat the mistake. Nothing's excellent in this world so just hope for the best.

Craft Shows can be an consuming time.  You've created a goods and now you're ready to promote and sell it at the local craft fair. However, it can be consuming to pack, load your vehicle, drive to the sale and then set up.

 
An organized system with a good check sheet is essential. Keep the check list on your computer and update and print it whenever you need it.  If an item is forgotten, it may follow in a poor display and a loss of income. Load your vehicle a day in enlarge so you have extra time to think of last slight items.  Pack as compactly as possible, and arrive early so you can unload before the vendor parking area is congested.  Use a dolly or cart to move your load fast in and out of an event.

 
Inventory

Your display must never look bare as this discourages buyers.  Sales will be made in the late afternoon before conclusion so ensure you have sufficient items for late customers, as they may not purchase if they feel that the display has been picked over.

 
Inventory boxes should be the same size so they stack easily.  Plastic totes safe the contents from dampness if it is raining or snowing and are stackable. Although more high-priced than cardboard, they are a good choice.  Label your boxes with a list of the contents to make retrieval easier.

 
Application Forms

Keep all your papers relating to the show in a zippered bag.  This includes your show application, map or directions to the event, receipt and parking passes and badges if they were mailed to you.  Some larger shows may wish liability insurance. Bring a copy of your sales tax certificate and a copy of the list you have with you.

 
Collapsible Displays

All display units should be collapsible to take up minimum space when transporting.  If necessary, bring a cordless drill to assemble shelving units at the event.  If folding screens are used, check for height restrictions.  If you have a cash register, bring a conveyable stand for it.

 
Setup Box for Table Coverings

Use a consuming colored plastic tote box to pack table skirting, exterior and masking tape.  Table skirting and covers can be made from no-iron cotton sheets as the wrinkles fall out after the display is set up.  A double or queen size sheet can be ripped lengthwise and hemmed.  opt dark neutral colors and not printed fabrics as your merchandise must show up against this background. If extra fireproof table coverings are required, the show will regularly supply them.  If the show is longer than one day, bring covers for the tables at night. Keep this box handy as this will be first box that's needed when you set up your display.  When packing to go home, use the box for purchases, leftover food, and personal items and put the table coverings and skirting into the list boxes.

 
Set-Up Box for Electrical Cords

A second set-up box is needed for postponement cords, power bar, clamps, duct tape (to tape cords down), electrical tape, glass cleaner, paper towels and spare light bulbs.  Put your name on all postponement cords with a felt label so there is no obscuring when you are leaving.  include any tools that you will need, such as a screw driver, hammer and pliers.  Pack a few small shims (pieces of plywood or thin wood) to go under table legs if they are wobbly or if the floor is uneven.

 
Bags and Packing Materials

There is sometimes space at the top of list boxes to include bags and tissue paper, which provides further cushioning for your items in transit.

 
Lights

Clip-on lights are considerable for spot lighting and to emphasize your display and should be packed together in a separate box.

 
Stools

Chairs are regularly provided, however, it is great to sell at eye level, so stools are more useful.  A folding director's stool, with a back, if you can find one, is the best. A folding lawn chair allows you to rest during quiet times, especially at a long show.

 
Advertising

Bring firm cards and holders, plus handouts.  A list of your upcoming shows is helpful as population will look for you at hereafter shows.  include your website address on all material.

 
Cash Box or Cash Register

Include ample float and extra rolls of coin in your cash. Bring reputation and debit card equipment.  A canvas apron for cash works well with whether two or three pockets.  Velcro can be sewn at the top of one of the pockets to ensure that bills don't come out.

 
Snacks

Bring a cooler with ice pack, water, cold drinks, sandwiches, plus a thermos of coffee or tea and snacks.  If you are busy, there is no time to go to the concession for food.

 
Business Sign

If you don't have a sign, print one on your computer and put it in a photo frame, or print it as a banner.

 
Tool Box

If exact tools are required for your craft, such as jewelry pliers, pack a separate tool box.  If you will demonstrate your craft make sure you have sufficient supplies.

Other Items to bring:

* Booth decorations if there is a theme, such as Christmas.

 
* Calculator, price tags, labels, pens, markers, display signs, scissors, tape, stapler, staples, pins, tissues, box knife, sales pads or cash register tape, tape measure, string, glue, rubber bands, paper clips, wet wipes and mirror (if selling jewelry or clothing).

 
* Notebook to description ideas for hereafter shows, addresses, etc.

 
* Camera to photo your booth so you can chronicle the distinct arrangements.

 
* First Aid Kit - Keep band aids, first aid ointment and sick tablets handy.

  
* Personal Items - water bottle, cell phone, medication, extra comfy shoes to change, sweater, jacket and grooming items.

 
* Music - A conveyable Cd player provides soft background music, however the event may have entertainment.

 
* Rubber anti-fatigue mat or piece of floor covering to stand on.  If necessary, tape the edges down with tape so it is not a tripping hazard.

 
* Fan - If there is no air conditioning and the weather is hot bring a fan.  If you have space for a larger fan, blow it into the shopping area to encourage customers to browse longer.

 
* Costumes -  If costumes are required, opt loose-fitting garments made of light-weight materials as it is leading to be comfortable while selling, especially if the display lighting is hot.  A long frilly apron with a shawl can be worn over road clothing for a quick costume.

 
Outside Selling

If you are selling outside, ensure that the canopy or awning is weighted down in case of wind gusts. Display stands may also need to be weighed down. Empty milk or juice jugs can be filled with water or use bricks for weight.  A fan for a summer show or a conveyable heater for a winter event can make selling more comfortable.  Other items are: umbrella, hat sunglasses, suntan lotion, rain gear, tarp to cover your display if it is raining, and a blanket.

 
It takes planning and a good check sheet to form the items that you need for a craft event but with taste you will learn to pack efficiently, and if you do it right, there will be time for a cup of coffee before population arrives at your booth wanting to purchase your wares. Happy Crafting.
