I was tired of cheap, small umbrellas. This product exceeded
expectations. I use it for work where I usually wear a suit and carry a
briefcase. It is large enough to protect both body and suitcase.
It is larger, so when folded up it may be twice as large as other brands, but is still small enough for easy transport. I have had no issue with wind, and the construction feels sturdy and durable.
Update 6/2013- Had a real test in high wind situation and I must say I am disappointed. It was windy, but not dangerously windy and the umbrella was nearly torn apart. The main rod became bent to the point that I have to manually open it now. It inverted numerous times and connections on the ends in places were torn off.
Overall for moderate conditions, umbrella worked great but with 20mph winds, leave it at home.
